I love discovering ‘new’ writers and Daniel Kelley has a distinctive style that really appeals to me. This collection of four short stories were very Twilight Zone-ish to me (and that’s a good thing!) and I enjoyed the way each story unfolded. The characters are exceptionally well defined and the descriptions are excellent. I was reminded of Stephen King’s writing in some of his more subtle works (and again- that’s a very good thing!)

Each story is unique and yet they complement each other very well. I have a feeling there are some parts of the stories that individual people will interpret differently; the stories make one think.

I also just read Kelley’s TABLE FOR ONE collection of short stories which I enjoyed very much. (see my review on that book as well)  I like it that there is such a variety in his work.  I look forward to reading more of Daniel Kelley’s work
